Global Food Disparity: A Photo Diary
Visual comparative studies like these are fascinating. I'd love to be able to undertake a project like this.
This photograph of an American family – the Revises – with a week's worth of groceries puts things in a perspective of volume that it's hard to get from a list of statistics.
Then there is the Namgay family in Bhutan. The equivalent of just over five dollars American can feed this family of eleven for an entire week. It boggles the mind.
